Mission Statement The mission of Bed Stuy sluggers is to develop and provide an environment for the youth in the community of Bedford Stuyvesant and its surrounding neighborhoods an enjoyable, safe team-oriented experience while learning the game of baseball. BSS is committed to teaching the community youth the life lessons through good sportsmanship and teamwork. The BSS Program sets a common standard of helping its participants build character, leadership, accountability, communication skills, community service, confidence and a work ethic second to none. We accomplish this with the outstanding leadership from our coaches, mentors and the vast network of successful communities involved individuals and businesses.  |
